Donation Versus Zikr After Prayers

Recently I performed the zuhr prayer in congregation in a mosque in Kuala Lumpur. After concluding the prayer, I rushed due to some immediate arrangements. Nevertheless, a foreign Muslim adult together with a foreign Muslim child who had also performed the prayer suddenly stood and asked for some donations from the other Muslims who had also performed the prayer in a loud manner. At the same time, the imam was chanting the zikr together with the other Muslims. It seemed that the imam and the other Muslims continued with the chanting ignoring the plea of the foreign Muslim adult and child. If I was the imam, I would probably stop the chanting and attend the foreign Muslim adult and child to know their plea. For me, the help other Muslims through donations is of more important than chanting the zikr at that situation. What do you think about the situation and what is the best way to solve the situation?

in my opinion..

Bro.. bro.. lepas ni blaja2 solat jemaah kat masjid ye..

Pasal situasi itu, sepatutnya, org yg meminta derma itu tunggu sehingga selesai segalanya. Tunggulah diluar. Atau berjumpalah terus dgn Imam. Adalah tiada adab mengganggu majlis org. Lebih2 lg sewaktu org lain hendak solat.

yes, we must help other muslims.. All muslims are brothers.
malaysia ada sumber2 yg sah. kita ada baitul mal, pusat zakat. kita ada jabatan kebajikan masyarakat.. Gunakanlah sumber ini untuk meminta bantuan.

Wallahu a'lam
